Historic sights of England

The United Kingdom is full of an array of beautiful historic sights; castles, Roman walls and forts, stately homes and gardens as well as historic cities full of beautiful buildings. I love to explore and discover new places, especially places with beautiful architecture.

Here are a few places I've visited in the past couple of years.

Wimpole Hall, Cambridgeshire - National Trust http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/wimpole-estate/

Hatfield House, Hertfordshire - http://www.hatfield-house.co.uk/

Whitby, North Yorkshire

I spent the day in the beautiful seaside town of Whitby, North Yorkshire on Saturday with friends. It's definitely worth a visit, especially on a summers day when the weather is nice. There are lovely beaches, the Whitby Abbey, beautiful Yorkshire hills and not forgetting the yummy fish and chips and we were lucky enough to catch an amazing sunset for leaving.
