It was such a privilege to be part of Sarah and Kevin's special day.
There's something wonderful about photographing at a wedding, although the day is extremely busy and goes by in a blur, you get to spend some of the most wonderful parts of the wedding day with the Bride and Groom. As a guest you may get chance to steel a quick hello with the couple, but with so many guests there isn't much time to spend with each person. As the photographer you get to follow them round for the day, capturing all the special moments.
Here are a few photos from their wedding day in November. You'll even find a couple of photos on me in there!!
You will notice some reference to Doctor Who in the photos. Kevin (the groom) is a huge fan and when Sarah (the bride) suggested the date for the wedding, Kevin wondered if she knew the significance of that day. She had selected the anniversary of Doctor Who. Of course Kevin thought this was a cool thing to do to be married on the anniversary, but then realised he would be missing the special showing of Doctor Who that day. Well at least he should never forget his anniversary.
